Founder of Flipside Management and a true icon in the South African music scene, Lady Lea has been rocking dance floors for over 31 years. Starting her DJ journey at just 14, she’s played everything from deep house to electro at clubs, festivals, fashion shows, and sports events worldwide.
Lady Lea’s passion led her to open Flipside Records, previously a record store based in Pretoria, which grew into a successful label and studio. Today, she runs Beat Boutique and has released multiple acclaimed albums under the Divas on Decks series.
A pioneer for women in music, Lady Lea launched the Divas on Decks agency to uplift and promote female DJs across South Africa and beyond. She now owns and operates the Flipside Management and Mentorship program to guide and promote up coming and veteran South African artists.
Previously ranked among the world’s top DJs by DJ Mag (#368), she’s performed everywhere from Ibiza to the German Love Parade, captivating crowds of over a million. With more than 20 residencies and countless headline gigs, Lady Lea continues to set dance floors alight, blending old-school vibes with fresh house beats.
